Attention Simple SNF clients
If you noticed some missing or outdated data in your Simple reports recently, you weren’t alone. This was due to a federal communications freeze that delayed CMS’s expected Jan. 29 data refresh.
The good news? CMS has now released the latest updates, and Simple has processed the new data—meaning your reports and predictive analytics are now up to date!
What this means for you
Five-Star and Quality Measures
- Your Five-Star predictive analytics now reflect the most current data.
- Quality Measures have been updated, including the previously frozen Section GG measures.
- Health Inspection Cycle Details are now displaying correctly.
State-specific Quality Analytics solutions
- Ohio QIP, Florida FQIP, California WQIP, and Texas QIPP analytics are now current.
SimplePBJ™
- 2024 4th Quarter (July–September) staffing results have been updated.
- The prediction model has been updated to reflect the latest available Case-Mix HRD and National Average Case-Mix HRD values.
- With the updated values, your HRD prediction scores could be different than even just a couple of days ago. Be sure to check out your updated Predict Five Star view!

When will the overall cut points finalize the numbers? Because we have several that have went way up and then went way back down. What is the accurate number?
