Meet your speakers
Amanda Dean
Program Specialist | PASRR Policy and Specialized Services, Community Services
Amanda Dean holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Downtown and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Prairie View A&M. She is a dedicated public service professional with a diverse background spanning criminal justice, counseling and intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) services. Amanda has 8 years of experience in IDD / PASRR programs with LIDDA. Amanda joined HHSC in 2023 as a PASRR Auditor with the CAO. She currently serves as the LEAD NFSS/IHSS Specialist within the PASRR Unit. In this capacity, she oversees HAB co-authorizations, NFSS requests, and IHSS services for individuals residing in nursing facilities.
Bryan Campo, MS
Manager | PASRR Policy and Specialized Services, Community Services
Bryan Campo is the PASRR Policy Manager with the HHSC PASRR unit in the HHSC Community Services Division. Bryan has been working in the IDD/BH field since 2013. Bryan has served in many roles over the years with the most recent being the Director of PASRR for Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (Local Authority). Bryan has since joined HHSC in 2022 to help develop policies to benefit all PASRR individuals. Currently, Bryan leads a team of program specialists who review suggested rule and policy changes for the PASRR program.
