  1. Steven Littlehale always takes complex information and makes it easy! A practical application approach that makes the learner feel smarter!

  2. I just listened to this webinar & it was so helpful!!

We have a really big problem & cannot get any help. I have contacted SimpleLTC, PCC, THMP, CMS technical support (IQIES), CMS Nursing Home Staffing & Noone can help. I’m hoping & praying you might can steer us in the right direction, I’m running out of people to turn to!

There were several MDSs that were done with a submission requirement of 2 coded in A0410 that were transmitted, accepted, LTCMIs were processed/complete & the RUGs are on the MESAV, BUT, they did NOT get counted on the PBJ census. This started about 6 months ago & the set up issue in PCC has now been corrected.
There are 15 residents on the “MDS 3.0 Missing OBRA Assessment Report”. What they all have in common is they all have many MDSs that were transmitted with a 2 in A0410 starting middle of May 2024.

We tried to modify those MDSs & change A0410, but they rejected with an error message that states “the facility ID & submission required items cannot be changed with a modification request”.

The question is, how can we change these COMPLETED/SUBMITTED MDSs from a 2 to a 3 in A0410? & will this even fix the census issue? We are a 30 bed facility, our census shows 15!!

Thank you for your time, hoping to hear back from you 🙂
